Cardio can become boring, I totally get it and often times we think we need to do more of it in order to see results. Here’s the deal, if we’re looking for fat loss, changes in our physique and a higher metabolic rate we have to start incorporating shorter, more intense workouts to our routine.
If you’ve been following me for quite some time you know I’m a huge advocate of weight training but I also think some higher intensity cardio needs to be thrown in there as an added bonus. I’m not talking about 2 hours every day, I’m talking about 20-30 minutes of higher intensity workouts to get more bang for your buck. One of my all time favorites is this one: 25_min_treadmill
Give that one a try and let me know what you think. If you find it too challenging remember you can always adjust to your fitness level. If you need more, add more speed and/or incline to the workout.
