How often do you walk into a supermarket and immediately feel overwhelmed with what to buy?
Here is Kim’s healthy grocery shopping list broken down by food groups. Just print it off and go! It will make your body healthy and your mind less anxious.

Healthy-food

Grains:

*Oatmeal, Couscous, Brown Rice, Barley, Quinoa, Wheatberries, whole wheat pasta. Anything whole grain is ideal.

Veggies:

*Broccoli, Spinach, Carrots, Brussels sprouts, Collard Greens, Cauliflower, Romaine Lettuce, Tomatoes, Bell Peppers. The list is endless

Fruits:

*Apples, Berries (blue, red, straw), Cantaloupe, Honey dew, Bananas, Watermelon, Grapefruit, Kiwi.

Protein:

*lean meats including chicken and beef, fish including salmon, tilapia, tuna, etc.

Beans and nuts:

*Black beans, kidney beans, white beans. Almonds, cashews, walnuts, peanuts. (Make sure the nuts are raw and salt-free.

Healthy Fats:

*healthy cooking oils (olive oil, canola, sunflower, etc.), avocados, canola based mayo

Dairy:

*low fat yogurts (greek yogurt is my fav), 1%-skim milk, low fat cottage cheese, low fat cheese or string cheese

Healthy Snacks:

*hummus, whole grain crackers, low sugar granola bars, Luna and Kashi Bars, trail mix
